In this episode, our heroes are called upon to investigate who is decimating the nations cotton crops, and Betsy Jeffers (Dawn Wells) is discovered unconscious on a table in a warehouse by watchman. Later, she's briefly seen cleave gagged and tied to a chair after the baddies have set fire to the place. She's quickly untied and rescued, however.
