Three childhood friends set aside their personal issues and reunite for a girls' weekend on a remote island off the coast of Maine. Tehy encounter a group of hunters one night, but when one of them gets more than a little rough with one of the girls, she smashes him in the head with a rock, killing him instantly. The remaining two freak out over the death of their friend and don't believe it was self-defense and turn their anger on the women. After knocking out Sarah (Kate Bosworth) with a rifle butt stroke, she wakes up tied by her wrists between to trees with Abby (Katie Aselton) and Lou (Lake Bell). The pair argue what to do with the women, but cold-blooded murder is clearly the deciding answer. The ladies are untied and make a mad dash for freedom.
